ROCK ‘N’ ROLL IS NEVER GONNA DIE, NEVER GONNA DIE.

Dallas Rock Band Signs with New Rock Label “LOUD Spirit Records” Records New Track with Rock Legend Randy Jackson for first release …

Dallas, TX (March 25, 2015) MEDIA ALERT: In late 2014 Randy Jackson of Zebra visited Dallas, TX to create a song with Darren “DPaul” Wise, Songwriter/Guitarist from Ashes of Eagles,  a Dallas based Rock Band..  The two met at Empire Sound Studio owned by Alex Gerst (Producer/Engineer)  with lead singer Scott Lathwood, Bassist Steven Knight and Drummer Michael Gray.  The track was engineered by Alex and produced by Randy, DPaul for LOUD Spirit Records.

“I grew up cruzin the lake front in New Orleans, LA listening to Zebra in my dash. At the time and in my eyes or ears rather no one on the planet was bigger rock stars than those guys. It was an Honor to be in the studio with Randy Jackson he is a pro, super talented  and a super cool guy. Not only is he a rock n roll legend, he was one of my rockin’ childhood idols and early influence” – DPaul Wise, Guitarist / Songwriter Ashes of Eagles.

The behind the scenes footage of “What it Feels Like” track production can be watched by clicking here: WATCH VIDEO and the full song can be heard here: LISTEN TO TRACK The band is currently back at Empire Sound Studio to finish up their album set to be released sometime this summer via LOUD Entertainment and the newly formed LOUD SPIRIT RECORDS.

“I am very passionate about Rock-N-Roll and the history of it. From my upbringings in New Orleans I felt like this is where Rock started with Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew. They inspired so many artists and so many have no idea how influential guys like that have on artists even today. Many don’t even know who they are, this is why it was so important to do this project with Randy. Randy, although he would never admit it, is a living rock legend.  I hope you enjoy the track, I know Randy and DPaul are very proud of it and so am I”. – Tom Stokes, CEO LOUD Media/Entertainment - Ashes to Eagles Management Team.

The track will be one of the first of many new projects coming out of the LOUD Camp via its LOUD Distribution Partnerships. Stokes further stated:  “ It’s no big secret there's a void that needs filling for new rock music today, and that’s the main purpose of LOUD Spirit Records… Discovering and promoting new rock talent worldwide. We mix old school rock 'n' roll philosophies with new age technology as we maintain a LOUD and enthusiastic Spirit while keeping a rocktistic freedom approach”.

Randy and DPaul are scheduled to appear/perform and will rock the red carpet with Eddie Money, Warrant, Chicago 6, Atomic Shift, Jeff Jacobs  and many other at WeishFest (pronounced “WishFest”)  2015 July 18th in Crestwood, IL for The Andrew Weishar Foundation Hosted by Bears Legend Dennis McKinnon. From here DPaul and his band Ashes of Eagles will join forces with their tour mates, Atomic Shift for Rockin’ The Red Carpet 2015 Tour. Details www.RockinTheRedCarpet.com

About ASHES of EAGLES: This American ROCK BAND formed in Dallas, Texas, December 2012 by Guitarist DPaul and comprising of Australian Front man Scott Lathwood, with Dallas Natives Steven G Knight on Bass and Mike Gray on Drums.

Following in the footsteps of iconic American Rock Bands such as Motley Crue, Foo Fighters and Shinedown aren't that easy. However, when you hear the emotion come pouring out of Vocalist Scott Lathwood, combined with the edgy riffs and epic guitar solo's of DPaul, it makes you realize that ASHES of EAGLES has that rare mixture of style, swagger and charisma that will make them stand out from the rest. Accompanied by a solid rhythm section, Steven G Knight creates the powerfully fat, bottom end of Ashes of Eagles, whilst Micheal Gray drives the band with his speed and power.

The band is perhaps best known for their live shows, which are typically loud, heavy and tight with a powerful energy and emotion, which has earned them support slots for several touring international bands, including Kiss, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Journey, Steve Miller Band, Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars, AFI, Alient Ant Farm and Dokken.
